Download the Syllabus Template (Docx) and open it in Microsoft Word. The syllabus template is intentionally created in Microsoft Word for accessibility reasons. If the template is converted to Google Docs, many of the accessibility features vanish.
Save Your Syllabus Accessibly!
Saving your syllabus properly as a PDF is crucial for its digital accessibility. To save your Microsoft Word document as a PDF for electronic distribution, follow the Create Accessible PDFs guide from Microsoft Support. Navigate to the tabs for Windows, macOS, and the Web. Click the Windows or macOS tab to read instructions based on your computer type.

Replace yellow highlighted text
Delete instructions
Only keep what is relevant
Do not edit required policies
After editing, review your entire syllabus to ensure all required fields are completed and any optional information that does not apply to your course is removed.
