Grants Office

Welcome and Mission

Welcome to Scottsdale Community College's Employee Resources for grants!

The mission of The Grants Office is to help faculty, staff, and administration secure funding for SCC programs and projects that align with SCC’s Vision, Mission, and Values.

The Grants Office can help transform your funding goal into a completed grant proposal by:

  • Identifying potential funding sources.
  • Serving as the point of contact with grantors and project partners during the application development process.
  • Editing and suggesting proposal content for teams developing proposals.
  • Drafting letters of Commitment and Support.
  • Assisting with developing a grant project budget that meets the definition of allowable costs that adhere to MCCCD guidelines.
  • Serving as the point of contact with the District Grants Office for proposal guidelines and 10 days in advance submission deadlines adhering to MCCCD procedures and necessary approvals.
  • Conducting training and individual support for grant development, budgets, and grant writing.
  • Assisting with all necessary approvals through the Grants Advisory Committee.
  • Assigning a proposal number in FMS in order to obtain necessary President and Provost approvals for your completed proposal in our District Grants Office electronic workflow (eform) software, GrantDocs.
  • Helping your team develop a grants management plan when your grant is funded.
