Many grant search resources are available beyond what is indicated below. The SCC grant officer can assist in locating external funding sources and determining eligibility and whether your interests fall within a funding agency's priorities.

- The Grants.gov SEARCH GRANTS tab is the best resource for a comprehensive listing of federal grants by keyword search, or visit the individual agency’s website to search for grants. Here are some commonly visited Federal Grant websites:
- National Science Foundation (NSF)
- Department of Education (ED)
- Department of Labor (DOL)
- National Endowment for The Humanities
- The National Endowment for the Arts
- National Institute for Health (NIH)

- Proposals that require a 501 c3 go through the Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation (MCCF). Check with SCC’s grant officer; some corporate grant opportunities need to go through the Maricopa Community College Foundation (MCCF) or have limitations on how many colleges within our system can apply. - Maricopa Center For Learning and Innovation:
- Horizon Grants respond to emerging trends and challenges to enhance sustainable teaching and learning practices within MCCCD and provide funding up to $12,500.
